Pitching/folding
3 poles to be passed through sheaths and tension with the metal pins at the bottom of the flysheet.in the sheathed
3
Protection from the sun
The flysheet fabric filters out UV rays with an SPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV can pass through a simple open door.
4
Ventilation
Lined living room flysheet to ventilate and limit condensation. Large front opening with mosquito net.
5
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. The well-pitched tent with all the guy ropes rigged around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds of 50 km/h measured near the ground.
6
Waterproofing
Like all Quechua tents, special care has been given to the waterproofing, which has been verified in lab tests WHOLE TENT tested under 200 litres of water/hour/sqm (200 mm of rain per hour!) and on field tests. -- Polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet 2000 mm -- Seams sealed using thermobonded tape -140 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet 5000 mm resistance.
7
Poles, pegs
Poles: All our fibreglass poles undergo a double quality control guaranteeing excellent resistance to breakage. Tent pegs: Excellent twisting resistance (6mm diameter steel).

Test Product
The waterproofness of QUECHUA tents is validated, for the whole tent, under 200 litres of water/hour/m² (200mm rain per hour) for 4 hours. The water column test (= mm schmerbers) measures just the impermeability of the fabric. Our test allows us to prevent any water entering via the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc. Wind resistance: We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating plate to expose each side of the tent to the wind.Tested in real conditions.

Stock Advise
STORAGE - after use or cleaning, only store the tent completely dry to prevent the development of odours and mould.

Care Instruction
1 CLEANING: clean the tent with soapy water if necessary, then rinse (using a hose is possible). Dry completely before storing. 2 RESIN MARKS: very difficult to deal with: once dry, gently scrape the mark. An ice cube on the inside will make it brittle and easier to remove. 3 STORAGE: after use or cleaning, store the tent only when completely dry to prevent the development of odours or mould.
