We guarantee: - resistance to the abrasion caused by the backpack and moving arms, in order to delay the pilling which is a feature of this material - strength of the seams - resistance of the fleece material after 3 washes (dimensional stability) - colour fastness after washing, when exposed to UV or after contact with perspiration.
A score for comparing the products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. An overall rating from A to E is provided to help you easily identify the more eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers and backpacks, etc.) Decathlon is committed to displaying the environmental information of its products. Our design team is based at the foot of the Mont-Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field because we believe that the only way to continually improve our products is to test them under the real-life conditions that you will experience.
We carry out 2 types of thermal tests: - either a test of the material of our fleeces. - or a test on a thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. We replicate the temperature, wind (5 km/h) and humidity conditions that you would experience in the mountains when walking at 5 km/h. These tests are used to validate our design choices. And we adapt the thermal insulation to where you need it most.
